Georg Jensen Cobra Small Bowl

As if the surface of a liquid had been turned to steel, the Cobra bowl’s curves and undulations seem to constantly change depending on the viewpoint and the light. The highly polished stainless steel surface reflects the surroundings, mesmerizing the eye even more. Empty, the bowl is a beautiful centerpiece to a table but there is practicality too – the bowl can hold small snacks or treats and the shape makes it easy to pick up and carry.

Designer Constantin Wortmann’s work follows natural flowing shapes and sensuous curves. Believing that design should create a reaction in the user and should not be taken too seriously leads Wortmann to make quirky and very popular pieces, the Georg Jensen Cobra collection being a particularly strong example.

The small bowl is made from stainless steel and then given a mirror-polished finish.
